For those of you who don't frequent the forums, you might have noticed a new face: Blake. He's doing graphics for Holonic. Here's a quick snapshot of his work so far.

We've also chose to employ dynamic lighting, and physics via jbox2d. More details will come later.

I have no idea what this game is, but already I'm intrigued.  This looks great! On a side note, (and sorry for not using that search button if it's come up), I was wondering how many of you have heard of the Open Pandora system that's due to come out this year.  It's an open source handheld that some of you might be interested in developing/porting games for.  Just a thought.  And Blake, again great job.

This is the first I've heard of it.

However, as for porting this particular game; some of the code already runs on Android phones, which leaves some interesting options down the line for ports.

For those that want to check it out
http://www.openpandora.org/
It's an ARM based system using the impressive OMAP3.  Details are still being worked out software-wise (current built apps only run through software at the moment), but I'm getting excited to play Normality again.  The focus is on emulators as this is the love-child of a very disgruntled GP2X community, but there are plenty of games being written specifically for the system.
